Brandon and Valentina knew each other even before they officially met. Since 2019, they have been orbiting similar social circles. In 2021, Valentina and Brandon became coworkers. They officially met at a company retreat. This was the first time employees were seeing each other after the pandemic had happened. This time gave Brandon and Valentina the opportunity to form a friendship. Over the months, they supported each other through major work deadlines and significant life events.

 

   In the spring of 2022 Valentina told Brandon with unmistakable conviction that she really, really liked him—and she was curious about his thoughts on this. Brandon, in turn, dared to only  say to Valentina  “I know.” After years of this brave episode Brandon has confirmed that he was just saying “I know Valentina… me too.”
 

   Fast forward to Summer of 2022. Valentina and Brandon started to hang out more. They took long walks, enjoyed trips to the beach, went on endless bike rides, ate a crazy number of good sandwiches, and drove around Massachusetts listening to each other’s favorite music. These times together helped them discover just how much they had in common and really like each other's company…

 

   Their favorite times were spent at Fenway Park, as Brandon and Valentina really fell in love watching the Red Sox. They enjoyed watching baseball before knowing each other. For Valentina, it was a connection to her dad and her home country; for Brandon, it was a sport he’s always loved watching with friends and family, especially in Boston. Together, they’ve shared at least 30 games since they met.

 

   They formalized their commitment to each other by deciding to move in together. It was challenging, but it’s probably one of the best decisions they’ve ever made. Now, two years later, they have a home where they’ve shared memories with friends and family—and, of course, Dino, who stole Brandon’s heart on day one, even though he wasn’t a dog person. 

 

   Brandon and Valentina are enthusiastic about the next chapter of their lives together as husband and wife and can’t wait to keep growing as best friends.
